These two works were created at the threshold between endings and beginnings.

Painted in the quiet aftermath of winter; cold, rain-soaked days when my body was healing and the spirit was listening. They emerged as the first warmth returned to the earth. The shift was subtle at first, with longer light, softer air, and small movements in nature that signaled life was reorganizing itself and so was I. 

...those nuances... how growth is slow and release is often quiet... and how hope is movement in uncertainty...

I think of spring as marrying off the past and present, held together in anticipation of summer’s birth. These florals live in that in-between: rising, opening, breathing forward. They are not about what was lost, but about what continues quietly, yet powerfully, into the light.
